he Weisfeld Center
occupies the former First Church of Christ, Scientist building, constructed
in 1910.
It is an excellent example of
neo-Classical Revival architecture, and has received numerous awards for historical
preservation and architectural achievement.
The building’s centerpiece is a pipe organ designed
by the Hook & Hastings company of Boston. The first of its kind in Dallas, it has been recognized
as “…an instrument of exceptional historic merit worthy of preservation."
